We will be discussing our selection for Young Adult month-The Prison Healer and finalizing the details for the Evening with the Author Event. We've also already chosen the last selection of the month for non-fiction month. Uncultured-a memoir. As always, this is a potluck. So please bring a dish to share.

Welcome to an evening with the authors. Local authors from the military spouse community published in multiple genres. This will take place at the USO on base. We will beginning the evening in panel form, where the five authors will introduce themselves, talk briefly about their work, and open the discussion up for questions and answers. We welcome readers and writers alike to come meet five women who have carved out a place for themselves in the writing community. There will then be a book signing, where you can bring any books you already have from the authors to be signed, or purchase signed books that evening. There will be light refreshments and social time for a short time before the panel begins. This event and the refreshments are provided to you by the OSC Book Club. As this event is at the USO, there is a capacity limitation and will have a finite amount of seating. Please include all parties on your RSVP. It is open to all ranks and anyone having base privileges.
